Artist Bio
Anne (Kemper) Frye was born in 1945 in Lexington, KY and raised in Georgetown. Frye studied at the University of Kentucky in 1967 and obtained her MFA from the University of California, Berkeley in 1968. She is best known for her geometric and abstract sculptures involving wood, plexiglass and concrete. Anne (Kemper) Frye has work in the Museum of Modern Art and her sculptures and photographs have been shown at the New York Gallery Mercer.
