Artist Bio
Tamara Thompson Bryant was born in 1935 Anderson, Indiana. She grew up in both the areas of Indiana and Kentucky. Bryant received her BFA at the University of Kentucky and her MFA from Indiana University. She started her career as an art teacher at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, Connecticut and later went on to teach studio arts at the University of Kentucky and Colgate University. .
