Artist Bio
Lella and Massimo Vignelli created the Vignelli Office of Design and Architecture in 1960 after they had both studied architecture, and in 1971 they established Vignelli Associates. Their famous design company has created work for IBM, Bloomingdale's, American Airlines, and signage for Washington D.C. and the New York Subway system. Their graphics, as well as furniture can be described at sleek, minimalist, yet highly architecturally intelligent.
