Griffin reads the poems “Twentieth Century Vision,” “Consummation,” and “Hunger,” an excerpt from the essay “Where No One Dwells,” an excerpt from the play Thicket, an excerpt from Chorus of Stones: The Private Life of War, and an unpublished book chapter titled “The Child's Body.” Griffin also responds to audience questions regarding her forms of writing, science, activism, her definition of pornography, her sense of place, and her approach to difficult interviews with major figures in war for Chorus of Stones. She closes by reading the poem “I Wake Thinking of Myself as a Man.”
