In this audiovisual recording from Thursday, March 22, 1979, as part of the 10th Annual UND Writers Conference: “Epitomes, Bombast & Climaxes," Edward Albee and Megan Terry participate in a panel called “Theater During the Sixties and Seventies.” The panelists discuss developments of theater in the sixties and seventies, their work during those decades, predictions for drama in the 1980s, the history of American theater, the growth of theater and the arts internationally and the stasis of American art, British drama, experimental theater, avant garde theater, working with directors and directing their own work, work following a successful work, reading and writing other genres, and their current projects.
