Berry lectures on the negative effects of strip mining in Kentucky as a similar cause to environmental concerns regarding the Garrison Dam in North Dakota. Berry reads an article from the Louisville Courier Journal in favor of the Falcon Coal Company. Berry also responds to audience questions about the coal companies looking to mine in North Dakota, the energy crisis, the effect of environmental apathy, overburden in strip mining, and issues of morality in these situations.
