Description
An action photograph of UND vs Parsons College of Fairfield, Iowa, in the third annual Pecan Bowl on December 10, 1966, in Abilene, Texas. UND, under the direction of Coach Marvin "Whitey" Helling, defeated the Parsons 42-24. The 1966 UND Football Team entered the Bowl Game with a record of 8-2-0. The UND ball carrier, Number 24, is Peter Pornish. Pornish lettered and was captain of the 1966 UND Football Team. Pornish also lettered in 1963 and 1964.
