Artist Bio

Nick J. Chiburis received his BFA from University of Omaha in 1963 and a Masters of Science in Art Education from Kearney State College in 1971. Chiburis became a professor at Iowa Western Community College for the remainder his career. His artwork centered around the subject of the human form and was explored through drawing, sculpture, and photography.
