Briefly concerning the artist-

Gordon Grant enjoys a reputation unique in American art. He possesses a knowledge of ships and men who go to sea and the ability to draw that places his talent in a ranking of its own. Grant discovered the lithographic stone as a medium after devoting most of his effort to copper plates. This work is one of the very first original signed lithographs by Gordon Grant. Grant is a member of the American Water Color Society, the Salmagundi Club, the Allied Artists of America, American Federation of the Arts, New York Water Color Club, Chicago Society of Etchers and other prominent arts bodies.

This work is guaranteed an original by the Associated American Artists, Inc., 420 Madison Avenue, New York, N.Y.
