Artist Bio

Joe Price is an American artist born in Ferriday, Louisiana in 1935. He attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois where he received his B.S. in 1957. He went to graduate school at Stanford University. Price is currently retired from the College of San Mateo art faculty, and is based in Belmont, CA. Price is famous for creating serigraphs using an average of 70 screens.
