Text Panel: Mark Abrahamsson grew up in coastal Washington, were he became fascinated with the natural environment. Being interested in both science and photography, he got a degree in dentistry from the University of Washington. Then, for the next 35 years, he pursued a dual career in dentistry and photography. Recently, however, he gave up dentistry to focus on photography.
A couple of decades back. Abrahamsson began to use a small plane to photograph landscapes from sky down. His work in the exhibition, which is an aerial view of a farm, is an earl example of this approach.
