Kim William Fink is a Professor in the Department of Art & Design at the University of North Dakota, where he teaches printmaking.

Fink's art often explores the ways in which cultural memory is produced. His work calls attention to the images and meanings that create individual and collective identities. Fink also explores the influence of popular culture and postmodern perspectives on identity.

This portfolio was organized by Brian Kelly, Professor of Printmaking at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Ross Jahnke, Professor of Printmaking at Nicholls State University. 103 complete portfolios were produced in this project with 100 going to the participating artists and the remaining 3 to the permanent print collections at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the university of Colorado at Boulder, and Nicholls State University. Additional portfolios have been included in the print collections at the University of North Dakota (West portfolio), the University of Central Florida (East portfolio) and the University of North Carolina (East portfolio). Portfolio pages printed at Marais Press at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette – pages designed by Trisha Dubina at Nicholls State University.
