This needlepoint of our nation's capital was presented as a gift to the University of North Dakota Foundation by Douglas (/46) and Frances (Cronquist '47) MacDonald. Novato, California. It was hand-made in mainland China and purchased by the MacDonalds at the 1980 exhibition of the People's Republic of China in San Fransisco, California.
