Additional Information

Human-animal hybrids have occupied art and storytelling for centuries. The combination of humans and animals in to one creature is a key component of cultural mythology and folklore, which has continued in to contemporary arts and culture.

Feathers and Fur is a print created as part of the 2012 Wild Ink Print Exchange. Faculty and students from the University of Alaska Anchorage, University of Montana, University of Wyoming, and University of North Dakota took part in the exchange. Lee created this work as a student of printmaking at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Included in Fables, Insults, and Reverence: The Animals of UND Art Collections Exhibition at the UND Art Collections Gallery in the Empire Arts Center
