Artist Bio
Robert Ecker was Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado, Boulder, holds a Lifetime Achievement award from Shippensburg University and his artwork is in many public and private collections including the Smithsonian American Museum of Art.
Additional Information
When titling his work, Ecker used the word “etherie”, which refers to a timeless feeling of transcendence that is evoked through the use of deep purples and green.
