Artist Bio

Keith Achepohl received his BA from Knox College in 1956, his MFA from the University of Iowa in 1960, and an honorary doctorate from Pacific Lutheran University in 1989 and Knox College in 1996. Achepohl worked as the head of printmaking at the School of Art at the University of Iowa, as well as the director of the University of Iowa Summer in Venice. His main art forms were printmaking, watercolors, and paintings.
