Artist Statement:
Oil Monopoly deals with the oil field business and money. I wanted to capture a way of how in the oil business workers go from place to place to earn money. Basically, people who work in the oil industry go where the money goes. With this motive, I thought of a Monopoly board and how the point of the game is to have the most money and properties, which relates to the oil business. By replacing aspects of the original game to fit the theme of oil, I believe that O il Monopoly is a fun and unique way to portray the oil field business.
