Artist Statement:
This print represents different forms or variations of decay or death: the girl sleeping or dying, skeletal bait, living fish, skinned bear clothing, and the tombstone shaped rocks. The folio theme, oil and water, is represented by a dark tornado in the water showing an oil spill about to spread. Aside from moving fish the overall image gives a sense of peacefulness in decay.
