Artist Statement:
I chose to examine how the two elements of oil and water negatively affect our communities and my semester theme of "Will We Not Survive Ourselves?" I have always had interest in Bob Ross as both painter and person. His presence is both inspirational and recognizable. I want people to see the print, smile at the subject, remember their childhood, then imagine what the future may bring if we continue to process our world as we are currently.
