Abstract

From the introduction: "Kalmár (1979) attempts to disprove what he sees as two basic assumptions behind the relational grammar analysis of Eskimo antipassives. His arguments, however, have at least two flaws: a misunderstanding of relational grammar, and a less-than-comprehensive view of the Eskimo data."
