Abstract

The investigation of Selenium in Sedimentary Rocks was stimulated by Mr. Kohanowski who had two samples of sedimentary material that were believed to contain selenium.

As not too much information is available or known about selenium minerals Mr. Kohanowski thought it would be educational for the student to analyze the samples and summarize the results in a paper for Senior Thesis.

Numerous tests were run on these two samples and this paper summarizes the results of those tests.
