Description

This is the 1897 Sanborn fire insurance map for Grand Forks, a city of nine thousand people in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. The town was founded by Alexander Griggs in 1870 and is home to the University of North Dakota.

The map consists of a total of sixteen pages and was originally the property of the Library of Congress, before being donated to UND in 1960.
