Abstract
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a mood disorder that causes depression in seasonal patterns, with winter being the most common. College students are particularly vulnerable to SAD due to factors like relocation, young age, and high social demand. The symptoms of seasonal effective disorder can be detrimental to a student’s career, and without specific knowledge of the causes and treatments for SAD, it is difficult to control the disorder.
