Abstract
This paper takes on the "memory war" between repressed and false memories, with an emphasis on false memories. It details information on how false memories occur, are harmful, the problems they can cause, and the therapeutic tendencies and practices used to bring them out. The paper wraps everything around to trials in the criminal justice system, and the role that false memories play in it.
