Description
President Richard Nixon and Congressman Thomas Kleppe deplane from Air Force One at the Grand Forks Airport on October 19, 1970. Nixon flew into town in support of Kleppe, who was campaigning for the U.S. Senate. Two members of the U.S. Armed Forces salute the President at the bottom of the stairs.
