This letter, dated December 12, 1945, from United States (US) Senator William Langer to John E. Hamilton, President of the National Indian Defense Association, Inc. thanks Hamilton for sending the news that the Three Affiliated Tribes hired Ralph Hoyt Case as representation for the tribes. Langer says that he wants to help in any way that he can. A handwritten note at the top of the letter reads, "Indians."
