This letter, dated June 5, 1954, from Three Affiliated Tribes elder Martin Fox to United States (US) Senator William Langer expresses frustration and what seems to be a lack of respect for the treaties that have been made between the US Government and the tribes. Fox requests that Langer come in person to straighten out any misunderstandings. Fox also requests truthful correspondences rather than a "smooth story" from the US Bureau of Indian Affairs.
