Description

This letter dated February 17, 1955, from United States Senator William Langer to Executive Director of North Dakota Hospital Service Donald E. Eagles marks the receipt of Eagle’s correspondence and states that Eagle’s idea of “taking care of the three affiliated tribes at Fort Berthold” is intriguing and interesting and “might work not out only at Fort Berthold, but also at Fort Totten, Belcourt, and Fort Yates.” The letter informs Eagles that Langer will take the matter up with those in authority and that Eagle will hear from Langer shortly. The letter is marked with the handwritten annotation “Fort Berthold.”
