Description

This letter dated December 16, 1947, from United States Senator William Langer to John Badbrave, Martin Croy, John Wilkinson, Phillip Atkins, Martin Fox, Charles Burr, George Parshall and Phillip Snow marks the receipt of their telegram from December 3, 1948, which advises Langer that the delegates in Washington were not authorized by a tribal council quorum. The letter states that Langer appreciates being advised that the delegates who were in Washington were not authorized to appear on behalf of the Fort Berthold Indians. The same letter is individually addressed to John Badbrave, Martin Croy, John Wilkinson, Phillip Atkins, Martin Fox, Charles Burr, George Parshall and Phillip Snow.
