This letter dated April 26, 1948, from United States Senator William Langer to Ben Reifel alerts Reifel that Joe Wicks will be coming to see him because Wicks has a proposal for various Indian Reservations. The letter states that Wicks’s proposal already has the approval of the Indian Bureau. The letter concludes by asking Reifel to “go over this matter very carefully” with Wicks. The letter is marked with the handwritten annotation “Ft. Berthold Indian Agency.”
