Description

This letter dated June 7, 1951 from C. H. Chorpening to United States (US) Senator William Langer acknowledges Langer's May 31 letter to General Lewis A. Pick regarding the reinterment of ancestors on the Fort Berthold Reservation due to inundation by the construction of the Garrison Dam. Chorpening says that he will look into it and write back to Langer. A handwritten note at the top of the letter reads, "Fort Berthold."
