Description

This letter dated January 26, 1942, from Superintendent of Indian Affairs William Beyer to United States Senator William Langer marks the receipt of Langer’s letter from January 20, 1942. The letter thanks Langer for the enclosure of the Farmers’ Bulletins included in the January 20, 1942 letter and informs Langer that Beyer will “be glad to keep you informed of the progress of the stamp relief plan on this reservation.” The letter is marked with the handwritten annotation “Stamp Plan Indians.”
