This letter dated March 19, 1958 from Three Affiliated Tribes tribal member Martin Cross to United States (US) Senator William Langer discusses US Senate Bill 809 (S. 809). Cross is encouraged that Senator [Richard] Neuberger says that his committee will consider the bill. Cross shows strong support for the bill and believes that it will provide the necessary relief some of the economic problems experienced by many Indigenous people living on reservations. There is handwritten note at the top of the letter.
