Description
This letter dated May 9, 1950, marks United States Senator William Langer’s receipt of Carl Whitman Jr.’s letter from April 29, 1950. Langer mentions Whitman Jr.’s letter was brought to his attention as soon as Langer returned from Salt Lake City and Devnver to attend hearings conducted by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Langer thanks Whitman Jr. for his correspondence and calls him thoughtful. The letter is marked with the handwritten annotations “Indians” and “CR - Cross, Martin.”
