Description

This letter dated December 20, 1949, from Secretary to William Langer Irene Martin on behalf of William Langer to Mrs. Donald Dike responds to Dike’s letter of November 21, 1949, regarding changes made from House Resolution 33 to a Senate bill. Martin writes to Dike, “Senator Langer said the reason President Truman vetoed this bill was because of the points you mentioned.” The letter includes the handwritten annotation “Indians.”
