Description

This handwritten letter dated September 26, 1950 from Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairman Martin Cross to United States (US) Senator William Langer informs Langer that Cross has been elected as chairman of the Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Council. Cross indicates that he was opposed by Carl Whitman Jr. and he includes the vote counts cast for each of them. Cross says that he thought Langer would want to share in his happiness of this news.
