In this petition, dated June 25, 1953, from residents of Elbowoods, North Dakota to United States (US) Senator William Langer, the Elbowoods residents, having agreed to sell their homes to the US Corps of Engineers to make way for the creation of the Garrison Dam reservoir, and having waited more than two years to be paid, are requesting to be paid immediately for their lost homes.
The second and third pages comprise a list of allottments/identification numbers and the corresponding allottees/parties in interest.
