Description

This hand-written letter, dated August 25, 1947, from Three Affiliated Tribes member Martin Cross to Senator William Langer, asks Langer to confirm that the Fort Berthold delegation along with the Three Affiliated Tribes attorney Ralph Case agreed to the Garrison Dam amendment. He also asks to confirm the amount of money that was attached to the agreement. A hand-written note on the letter says, "clear."
