Description

This telegram, dated December 17, 1945, from Senator William Langer to Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairman Martin Cross, informs Cross that the legislation authorizing the construction of the Garrison Dam has passed with the provision that the tribes must be adequately compensated and/or provided with satisfactory lieu lands prior to construction.
