Description
Letter dated April 16, 1918 from Kersey Gowin to Attorney General William Langer informing Langer of rising prices for bootlegged alcohol and asking him to contact J. A. Coffee at the Internal Revenue Collector office in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Gowin hopes that Coffer will work with Langer and him, providing them with a list of Minot residents who have applied for a government license.
