Description
Letter dated October 26, 1918 from an unnamed Assistant Attorney General to Sheriff S.A. Smith in reply to Smith's letter of October 23, 1918 regarding reimbursement for expenses incurred while capturing two bootleggers. The author relates that the State has no appropriated funds for the expenses related to catching the bootleggers as referenced in the previous letter. The letter advises Smith to send his bill to his county.
