This letter from Sheriff George Laney was sent to Attorney General William Langer in response to an earlier letter of August 17, 1918. Sheriff Laney writes that while there has been gambling in Napoleon in the past, he believes that the practice has stopped, with the exception of the party mentioned in the previous letter (A.W. Drarger).
