Letter dated May 24, 1949 from T. W Strieter to Senator William Langer forwarding more affidavits in defense of Sandberger. Strieter mentions that Sandberger is condemned to hanging on April 10, 1948, that General Clay confirmed the sentence on March 4, 1949, and that this death sentence would be murdering an innocent.
