Elmer Thompson recorded this view of students at the Flom School in Osnabrock Township, North Dakota. Thompson was, among other things, working as a school photographer at the time the picture was taken.
Thompson's photograph is interesting in comparison to the memory painting by Emily Lunde (1914-2003) that faces it on the opposite wall of the hallway
