Oral history interview with Coleman G. Jacobson of the U.S. Army Air Force during the Second World War. Jacobson was shot down over Germany in September 1944 and was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 1, near Barth, Germany. The camp was liberated by the Russian army in early May 1945. Dr. Coleman G. Jacobson was born in Connecticut on 18 April 1921 and died in New Hampshire on 10 April 2012.
Kriegieland was a video documentary series examining the experiences of Prisoners of War (POWs) from the Second World War and the Korean War. Elmer Lian, himself a POW in Germany during World War II, hosted the series, which was produced by the UND AeroSpace Network.
