Artist Bio
Robert Tharsing was born in 1943 in Santa Monica, California. Tharsing studied at the University of California where he obtained his BFA and MFA in 1967. And from 1971 to 2002 he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Art at the University of Kentucky. He is best known for brightly colored painted landscapes both representational and nonrepresentational, as well as abstracts, and sculpture.
