Description
Photograph of the Grand Forks police force in 1888. In 1988 policemen wore helmets, carried night sticks, and had admired mustaches. Some are famous for their acts of bravery. Sitting are Patrolman Peter Alreck, Chief Pat Hennessey, and Patrolman John Sullivan. Standing are Patrolman Mike Tulley and Martin Welsh.
Indeed a distinguish bunch.
