Description
Photograph taken during the flood of 1964 along Belmont Road. Background shows Lift House #8 (as of 2/3/2025 known as Marilyn Hagerty Lift House #8), which is located at the intersection of Fifteenth Avenue and Belmont Road. The lift house was built in 1938 back when all of the original houses in this are where just getting built. A truck can also be seen parked in the waters on Fifteenth Avenue.
