Large vase with handles attached to a dragon head motif on each side. Colorful depiction of horses, water, landscape and structure on face with inscription (pictured). Colorful landscape with East Asian human figures going about daily life within a large structure with smaller inscription near top on other face (not pictured). Dragon head and handles in bas-relief on sides of vase. Sits on carved wooden base. 2 of 2 (both vase and wooden base). Paintings reflected orientation from other vase, otherwise identical.

Wooden base made of dark wood and repeating carved pattern.

Condition

Fair. Vase - some cracking, base- deterioration

Condition Notes

Vase - Cracked around middle of vase body, repaired, glue residue visible, paint under glue is damaged/smudged. Base - edges cracked and not secured
