From James Carley's notes: Redware pot with handle 8" high. Glazed inside with transparent glaze. Very plain. Possibly a stew pot, although it does not appear to have been used regularly on the stove. Purchased Indianapolis. Jane Magsig had got it at a museum sale in PA.
